Hi Everyone,

Here's a very interesting article on power sources. I have been saying for many years we need to look at researching alternate fuels viabilty and it would seem others are now thinking along the same lines. We have so many choices to explore before we even consider Nuclear but the vested interests seem to have the loudest voices and the fatter wallets....or control opinions of more people. Grrr...

But if we the public, and consumers of this essential product, let our politicians know our thoughts through us speaking out, then we might get some funding for exploring some of these fuel alternatives and have them properly researched so we are sure of the capabilities or limitations of each possibility.

Ethanol fuel is quickly gaining acceptance through necessity but the sad thing is - it really is a true alternative - to petroleum fuel. So when you are at the petrol pump, give some thought as to why it hasn't been used much more often as an alternative fuel for our vehicles.

Just think, if we had been doing prior research and production, we wouldn't be having to pay the current prices we are now being blackmailed with by the fuel companies! But I guess we wouldn't be having to listen to their humungous profits either - knowing full well that they come from us, the consumers -

And we then wouldn't be so open to being blackmailed at the will of the petroleum producing countries either. Doesn't the thought of that freedom appeal to you? It does me.
